Succulent herb, wilting. Stems decumbent, to 40 cm tall, fleshy, purplish. Florets white, capitula small (c. 0.5 cm diam.).

Scrambling shrub with arching branches. Leaves softly hairy, bright green. Female flowers with long red stigmas, elsewhere green. Fruits green, 3-lobed.
