New website
We are proud to present the addition of three new countries to our Online Flora Database system.
In close cooperation with the Botanic Garden Meise in Belgium we have started Online Floras of Burundi, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Thanks to the diligent work of Salvator Ntore, Petra Ballings, Mieke Berckx and Marc Sosef the Burundi site already represents a near comprehensive checklist. The checklists of Rwanda and DRC are still being developed but we hope to be able to complete them soon.

This site provides information about the flowering plants and ferns of Rwanda.
This is one of three e-flora websites, which describe the floras of Burundi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda, which together cover the Flore d' Afrique Centrale area. We also have sister sites about Botswana, Caprivi, Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe, which together cover the Flora Zambesiaca area.
